I had hit rock bottom, struggling to find a way forward. Homeless and overwhelmed, I felt trapped in a cycle of despair with no clear path out. But in the midst of this darkness, I found a beacon of hope—Star of Hope. It was more than just shelter; it was the first step toward reclaiming my life and breaking free from the chains of my past.

Healing was not immediate, nor was it easy. It required confronting painful truths, breaking free from harmful patterns, and redefining my sense of self. With the guidance of dedicated counselors and a compassionate community, I slowly began to rebuild my confidence. I learned that true change doesn’t come overnight—it comes from persistence, courage, and the willingness to grow.

Now, as a Peer Support Specialist and mental health advocate, I use my experiences to uplift and guide others. I founded Evergrowth Haven and WeBeWhatWeBe—platforms dedicated to providing safe, supportive spaces for those navigating recovery, trauma, and life’s uncertainties. Through my work, I strive to remind others that they are never alone and that healing is always possible.
