Evergrowth Haven brings together community members, peer specialists, students, facilitators, professionals, organizations, and people who are simply looking for a place to connect.
Because different people may participate in different roles, it is important to be clear about what participation in Evergrowth Haven does—and does not—mean.
Community Is Not Clinical Care
General participation in Evergrowth Haven, including community groups, peer conversations, educational activities, resource sharing, My Haven profiles, and the Community Exchange, does not create a therapist-client, physician-patient, or other licensed clinical relationship.
Evergrowth Haven community content is not a substitute for individualized medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice or treatment.
Peer Support
Peer support is grounded in lived experience, mutuality, connection, choice, and respect.
A peer specialist may share experience, perspective, resources, skills, or support within the scope of their role. Peer support does not authorize a peer specialist to diagnose, prescribe treatment, practice outside their credentials, or take decision-making authority away from another person.
Each participant remains responsible for deciding what information, resources, or choices are appropriate for their own circumstances.
Licensed and Credentialed Professionals
Licensed or credentialed professionals may participate in Evergrowth Haven as collaborators, facilitators, educators, supervisors, community members, or providers of separately identified professional services.
A person’s professional credentials do not automatically transform every conversation or community interaction into a professional service or clinical relationship.
If Evergrowth Haven offers a service that is specifically provided within a licensed or credentialed professional role, that service may have separate disclosures, informed-consent documents, privacy practices, documentation requirements, fees, or other terms.
Students and Developing Professionals
Students and developing professionals may participate in certain Evergrowth Haven activities for education, supervised experience, observation, facilitation, or professional development.
Their role should be identified when it is relevant to the activity.
Participation through Evergrowth Haven does not independently guarantee academic credit, internship credit, certification hours, licensure hours, credentialing, employment, or acceptance of hours by a school, licensing board, credentialing organization, employer, or supervisor.
Supervision
When supervision is required for a professional, educational, or credentialing purpose, responsibility for determining whether supervision meets applicable requirements remains subject to the rules of the relevant school, licensing authority, credentialing organization, employer, program, or profession.
Community participation alone should not be interpreted as professional supervision.
Information and Resources
Evergrowth Haven may share educational materials, community resources, referrals, links, opportunities, or information supplied by other people or organizations.
Providing access to a resource does not automatically constitute endorsement, professional advice, or a guarantee regarding the accuracy, availability, quality, safety, eligibility requirements, or outcome of that resource.
Emergencies
Evergrowth Haven is not an emergency or crisis-response service and is not continuously monitored for emergencies.
If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency or crisis service in your location.
Different Roles. Clearer Expectations.
Someone can be a professional and still participate as a person. Someone can have lived experience without becoming another person’s clinician. Someone can teach without controlling the learner. Someone can offer support without owning another person’s decisions.
The role matters. The context matters. Clarity matters.
